We at September Sun take your privacy seriously. The internet and the business world is a wild place where it’s hard to know exactly who’s running what and where something’s being run from. September Sun is a US-based company operating out of Tacoma, WA. In order to preserve privacy ourselves, some of our business handlings are out of Spokane, WA. We’re humans making tallow-based skin care products and humans making a website to try and sell the tallow-based skin care products.

Website Data

When we say the internet is a wild place, we mean that it can really be intrusive and unethical. In our current state of the business, we do not collect any of your data that’s being used for targeted ads nor is it being sold anywhere. One of these days we may end up investing in your modern web tools to grow but for the time being, our website is just a place where we’re trying to educate people on the goodness of tallow and provide a platform to sell this good stuff along the way. The day may come where we figure out this small business stuff and dance with the data. Until then, we only get data from what you provide to us in the Contact page and from purchases.

Purchasing Data

When you buy stuff from us online, we will collect your name, email, phone, and address to make the shipping of the product a reality. In addition, credit/debit card numbers will be collected to process the payments. We will store this information from 32 days of when it’s inputted into the website. The reason for the storage is if something in the transaction isn’t right and we want to make it right, alright? The purchasing data is the most sensitive data we’re collecting and we’re committed to keeping your information safe and sound.
